Every year, millions of students graduate without the skills, confidence, or direction to succeed in real life. Despite years of schooling and college, they struggle with communication, decision-making, creativity, and emotional balance. At Practical Learning School (PLS), we are building a new model of education, one that combines academic learning with real-world practical exposure to jobs, business and society, emotional intelligence, and ethical values from early age. And saying a complete NO to rote learning (memorizing).
Our Practical Learning Concepts are specially designed for children aged 6 months to below 7 years, the most crucial stage for cognitive and emotional development. After the age of 7, children often adapt to traditional rote learning methods, making it harder to introduce practical learning effectively. That’s why we encourage every parent to join our Basic Guidance Program and start nurturing practical learning habits early. Practical learning is actually simpler and more natural than conventional methods, because children truly understand what they learn, rather than just memorizing it.
As Albert Einstein, the great scientist said, “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.” It simply means that, the kids forget everything they memorize to write exams and it doesn’t add value to their life. Whereas the proper education is something which they always remember, and this is only possible through Practical Learning School methods.
